Frenchie dream weavers m83 have released their first single ‘midnight city’ from their soon to be released album ‘hurry up we’re dreaming’ (pretty snazzie title in my opinion). The album cover was shot by Anouck Bertin, who is the photographic director over at urban outfitters for all you obsessed fans. Keeping with the ultra trendy theme, m83 hit up producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen, who has produced for the likes of Beck, NIN, The Mars Volta and Goldfrapp. With all the name dropping over, white mess is frothing for October when the bum is let out. MY FIRST...

I bought my first Docs in Spring Street, SOHO, New York City. It was a miserable day, raining and freezing, typical February New York weather. The store was warm and alive with a rad saleswoman singing as loud as she could to the song that was playing. I walked out of the store with a nice big bag, back into the rain, a very happy chappy. Although I haven't had them for long, they have a special place on my shoe rack for a very, very long time.

Totally in love with the new Docs campaign, envisioning memories of people's "first's," whether it be first love, first job, or first bowl cut we ever had. Dr Martens, however, are hoping that your first Doc purchase was one to remember.

Oh! and did I mention Aggy's back! The girl that was probably born with Docs on her feet, seems quite the good candidate when it comes to doing this very special campaign for them. Major thumbs up!

PRAD....OH I MEANT CHEAP MONDAYS...

Where to begin......let's just say that the Cheap Monday SS 2012 show was exactly what their playlist envisioned.....COMMERCIAL.

Don't get us wrong,  we do love Cheapies as much as the next person...and we will stride down the streets with pride in our very own Cheapies...there were definitely some diamonds in the rough - the perspex windcheaters, stripy jeans, zipper jeans and some various boldies (ok...so I'm a softy when it comes to canary yellow!!) but all in all, it felt like Cheap Monday sneezed out Prada SS 2011. So come on guys...a designer is supposed to CREATE and INVENT clothing, prints, silhouettes and rad trends, but to be quite frank....we've seen "holey" sweaters, box t-shirts, maxi dresses, stripes, stripes and stripes and ORANGE!!

But take some time to have your own peek, there are definitely some goodies (and some not so goodies - SORRY CHEAPIES - we do LOVE you...just some constructive criticism!)

Being a complete softy when it comes to structured, square, clean, sophisticated and sturdy contraptions made out of sweet sweet leather, this would have never gotten past me! I'm also ALLLL about a small cap brand crawling through the scorching retail desert with a dust storm charging behind them! Make sure to have a squizz and fall in love with them too....

Sorry we’re a little late on this one kids. Wednesday might was the opener for Skills to Pay the Bills. There was a very tidy turnout of support for 23^rd Keys’ first solo showing. Put a few pics up of the works and the supporters. Just pay attention to the detail and remember that YES! these are stencils WOW.
